House Silentoak

Since the Formation of the High Council, there had not been a spectacle that displayed the level of marshal prowess and chivalry like the joust at Marin. Hundreds of knights from every dukedom of Lyshoria competed for gold, land, honor and fame.

Nobles from renown Houses were also in attendance, including Lord Segundel, Duke of Mordrel, Overseer Renald Sarralon of the Yazaku Reef, and Lord Bertran, Marquis of Elderwood to name a few.

At the end of the day, it was Haimon of House Silentoak, a country-knight from Carnesse adorned in Red and White livery who won the day. He used cunning by implementing a series of dodge tactics rather than brute force that frustrated his stronger opponents. He would then follow-up with speed and accuracy to shatter his lance tips against his befuddled opponents. During the course of the event, because of his cleverness and agility, his peers gave him the byname, The White Fox.

As a reward for winning the joust, he was bestowed the title of Warden and lordship over the small village of Long Pool.
